What is the purchasing process?

All of our products are unique and are fabricated one at a time. When a piece is requested the price and delivery date are determined based on the material cost, fabrication time, and if any specialty motor parts need to be sourced. Once the design is finalized there can't be any major changes. Depending on the change it could mean starting all over. The price and build timeline can also be established now. To start the process the customer will be invoiced for a deposit of 50% of the material cost. After receipt of the deposit materials will be ordered and fabrication will start. The remaining balance will be due when the piece is picked-up or before it is shipped. The fabrication time is usually around six weeks but it can be shorter or longer depending on the complexity of the piece.When shipping is necessary because there are so many variables such as weight, size, and location each one must be handled separately. When shipping is necessary it will be done at cost to the customer using a reputable company like UPS or FedEX. If needed we can also provide shipping crates.

Can you use my parts?

We are happy to use customer parts but can't be held responsible for them. We will make every effort to ensure that materials that are provided by the customer are weldable or machinable before using them. The designs and material combinations that you see on our website can be tailored to accommodate customer preferences. The pieces shown reflect a small sampling of our product designs. If you envision something entirely different we are open to building small desktop clocks up to outrageous full wall motorhead creations.

Can I return a product?

Accepted Answer

Provided that the materials haven't been ordered customers can change their mind and cancel the order at any time for any reason. The 50% deposit is fully refundable. All returns need to be authorized. If the item that is received is damaged or defective it can be returned for a full refund within 30 days. Because of the personal element we typically can't accept returns on custom built to order speciality pieces.
